How to connect a DualShock 4 controller with an iPhone or iPad (iOS 13)

To connect a DualShock controller with your iPhone or iPad, you need to pair them first. You can pair them easily by putting your DualShock in the pairing mode and connecting from Bluetooth settings of your iOS device. Here is how.

1.    On your iOS device, open ‘Settings.’

2.    Go to ‘Bluetooth’ settings.

3.    On your DualShock controller, press and hold down the ‘PlayStation + Share’ button for some seconds.

4.    Release the buttons when white light starts flashing. It means the controller is in pairing mode.

4.    Then press and hold down the ‘Connect’ button for some seconds. This will put the controller in pairing mode.

5.    Now, look for your Xbox One S controller’s name in the Other Devices section in Bluetooth settings. It may display as “Xbox Wireless Controller.”

6.    Tap on the controller’s name on your iOS device to pair.

Again, once you complete pairing your iOS 13 device with your Xbox One S controller, you can play any iOS game on your iPhone or iPad with the controller. How to disconnect or unpair DualShock 4 or Xbox One S controller

3.    Look for the controller’s name in the paired device list.

4.    When you find the controller, tap the ‘i’ button on it. This opens the options for disconnecting and unpairing.

5.    Select ‘Disconnect’ if you want to disconnect the controller.

6.    Choose ‘Forget this device’ to unpair the controller.

7.    Tap ‘OK’ to confirm unpairing.
